What are metre (meter) and centimetre (centimeter)?

Metre (m) and centimetre (cm) are units of length.

1 m  =  100 cm

We know,

So,

Hence,

=  800 cm  +  82 cm

=  8 m 82 cm

The ceiling is 8 m 82 cm high.
